A play written and performed by Keith Hamilton Cobb, examining the experience and perspective of black men in America through the metaphor of William Shakespeare’s character, Othello.

American Moor ran off-Broadway at Manhattan’s Cherry Lane Theatre from September 8th to October 5th, 2019.

It was produced by Red Bull Theater in association with Evangeline Morphos, Elizabeth Ireland McCann, Tom Shea, and Frederick M. Zollo.
